Reverse Stalking- Didn’t even need to see the end of the question

Someone asked “Who will take over as the leader of” , and I know what you’re talking about.

As I said in “Rant #8- Super Junior M Rumors”, no new leader for SJM has been announced yet. So far it looks like ZhouMi is handling a lot of the speaking, since he’s the only one left who is a native Chinese speaker, and Siwon is still very active on stage. Those two are the favorites among fans for a new leader.

Nothing has been announced yet, but SJM is holding fan meets again and getting ready for another album to be released soon (most likely in very early 2011 after Kyuhyun finishes his musical in Korea and Donghae his drama filming). If a new leader is chosen it will be announced before then.

Personally if they do have a new leader I think it will be ZhouMi, since he is the only native Chinese speaker left, but again that’s just an opinion. I’ll update and let you all know if a new leader is announced.

Rant #8- Super Junior M Rumors (Update)

I don’t have all the details yet but Super Junior M made an appearance together in China yesterday and revealed some details about their upcoming album. I don’t know what those details are yet, I have to wait for the fans to report them, but a member was talking about it on his Webio (like Chinese twitter).

Rumors have, inevitably, begun again as to what will happen to Former Leader Hangeng’s empty chair. Apparently there were reports that Super Junior’s Sungmin will be filling his place, but that was an UNCONFIRMED statement, most likely a misunderstanding. Super Junior’s Eunhyuk is another popular rumor. Once again though: SM ENTERTAINMENT HAS SAID NOTHING ABOUT ADDING A NEW MEMBER TO SUPER JUNIOR M. If it is going to happen or not has never been said, so wait a bit and see for yourself what is happening on that field.

Just a little observation. The SJM album probably won’t come out until January. I say this because member Kyuhyun is starring in a musical in Korea until January, so I don’t expect any SJM until that’s done, since he wouldn’t really be able to juggle the schedules of a just-beginning series of promotions with a musical.

Reverse Stalking: A couple of things

This one got more requests, so I’ll answer it first. Someone wanted to know where the “Co Ed School Group Blogs” were. Um… I don’t know what that is. You might be looking for the Group Commentary, that’s the closet thing on my site I can think of, and just click “Group Commentary” to find it. If you wanted to see an Artist Profile about them I already said check back in a couple of years, I don’t like to do artist profiles on groups until they’ve been around for a little. The only exception to that rule is F(x), because they’ve worked really hard to promote themselves and have done a lot of work recently. So if Co Ed School does that too then I’ll make a profile for them.

The second question was: “what does 愛不單行 mean”.

愛不單行 is the Chinese name of a Show Luo song that everyone seems to REALLY like, I think it’s the most popular review/full lyrics I’ve ever posted. 愛不單行 has a couple of translations, but the one that is most common is “Love Does Not Travel Alone”. Hope that answers your question!

Announcement- What do you think?

I got bored with the other layout, so I decided to change it. I think this one is a little easier to navigate, since now you just have to scroll over the tool bar to see the whole list of pages. I don’t know though, what do you think? Is the new layout a good or bad move? My opinion isn’t important, I don’t deal with the menu and page as much as you do, I usually just post and do cursory checks for broken music video links.

I’m really sorry I haven’t been posting many new reviews. It’s midterms in Korea and I’m having trouble mustering up the will power to do anything. I just wanted to say I haven’t forgotten my list of due reviews, and that includes FT Island, when I finally sort them out to form their massive storyline. I’m also working on updating my library so I can review MVs I’ve been wanting to review. Basically I have to find the English translations of songs and make my own subtitled versions.

But I promise to review more soon… Even though I’m not sure exactly what “Soon” entails just yet. Please be patient!!!

I also wanted to say “thank you” to those of you who have been leaving comments on my pages and not just via the search bar trick. I’ve gotten a lot of really nice comments lately and I always am happy to see what you have to say ^^

Reverse Stalking- I think I know what you’re looking for, and I’m not posting that

I got a search for “Show Luo” all of the sudden. Since no one has searched for his media in a couple of months I can guess what’s up. Show Luo has hit the news, and this year’s scandal is going to be hard to work around. Last year people were saying he bribed music charts or whatever to keep his name on top, and this year it’s a bit more scandalous.

I am not going to comment on this blog about that scandal. The news just broke today, which is why I think the new scandal and the search are linked. If you want to read about it you can go to http://www.asianfanatics.net , they translate tons of entertainment media stories and you can follow the whole thing on there.

Group Commentary: Co-Ed School (Update)

Co-Ed has released a new MV. While I can’t find it with subs yet (and therefore can’t review it), it did change my opinion of the group and their future in the Korean music industry a bit.

This new MV (Bbiribom Bberibom) is extremely unique and presents a new side of the group. They no longer are copying any SM Town group’s style, and seem to finally be finding their feet. If they keep this up I can picture them sticking around in the music industry for a while, though if they put out too many cutesy songs in a row they’ll only have junior high level fans.

Reverse Stalking- A bit too soon

Someone was looking for “profile idol group co-ed school”.

Since Co-Ed is such a new group they don’t have an Artist Profile yet. If they stick around and participate actively in programs then that should come around their 2nd or 3rd year since debut, since I like to get a feel for a group before I do a profile.
